![]() 71 Sunbeam (RIP) 71 Sunbeam began in early 1999. Neil and Nicole, who had played together in Fizzle, started working on some of his songs around the same time that he and Jeremy also started jamming. A few weeks after the three of them decided "officially" to form the band, Neil found Jason on the street (it's a long story), and 71 Sunbeam was born. After a couple years, Jason moved on and Ariel moved in. In 2003 the band called it quits when Neil, Nicole and Jeremy moved away (to different places). The demise of the band left Ariel alone in Boston. Not one to be down for long, he decided to make his then side-project, Joy, his primary band. And they all lived happily ever after.
